We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing Trusts & Estates Litigation team. This virtual position is ideal for an attorney based in El Segundo,  California , with the flexibility to meet clients in person as needed. This is your chance to contribute to a dynamic team while working on complex and meaningful matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Conduct client interviews to understand their needs and objectives and provide tailored legal guidance.
• Assist with estate and trust administration, from asset identification and valuation to distribution.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex estate planning and trust administration issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Meet a minimum billable hour requirement of 1,800 hours per year.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• Experience in Trusts & Estates law.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $105,000 - $155,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Bonus Opportunities: Based on billable hour benchmarks and discretionary performance bonuses
