Job Description
Reboot Staff is seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of corporate and community events to promote engagement and ensure operational success. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and excels at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate internal and external events from start to finish
Collaborate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
Prepare detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines
Oversee event logistics, including registration, accommodations, equipment, and materials
Conduct on-site coordination during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
Analyze event performance and prepare post-event reports for review
Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams throughout the planning process
Ensure all events align with company goals and branding
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Trello)
