Job Description

Hireology’s technology empowers businesses to build great teams. Over the last 15 years, we’ve grown from a startup to a market-leading organization with over 150 team members, and we’ve created an award-winning culture that makes this company an amazing place to work. We are seeking a proactive, curious, and adaptable Salesforce Administrator with 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience to join our Revenue Operations team and be a solutions partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product. In this dynamic and multifaceted role, you’ll support and optimize our go-to-market systems, processes, and data — with a primary focus on Salesforce, but a broader scope across multiple tools in our RevOps tech stack This is not a narrowly scoped admin role — it's hands-on, cross-functional, and ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in ambiguity, and likes to learn new systems and solve problems. If you enjoy digging into data, connecting the dots, troubleshooting, putting processes in place and making systems run more effectively, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Administration & Platform Ownership

  • Act as the primary Salesforce Administrator (Sales Cloud), with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Maintain overall platform health: user access, profiles/permissions, record types, flows, reports, dashboards, and validation rules.
  • Manage regular platform hygiene tasks including data cleanups, sandbox refreshes, package administration, and release readiness.
  • Work closely with a Salesforce developer to determine the right blend of declarative and programmatic solutions.
Systems & Tool Management * Become the SME (subject matter expert) for a subset of tools in our GTM tech stack, and provide backup support for others such as: HubSpot, 6sense, Gong, ZoomInfo, RingLead, Nooks, Docusign, Zendesk, Vanta, Zuora
  • Support system integrations and ensure clean, consistent data across platforms.
  • Stay up to date on platform capabilities and business needs, adapting system usage as priorities shift.
Process Improvement & Solution Design
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend improvements, and deliver thoughtful solutions.
  • Help streamline and optimize lead-to-revenue processes through configuration, automation, or tool enhancements.
  • Analyze operational data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system-driven improvements.
Workflow & Documentation
  • Track work using Salesforce Cases and Jira.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Confluence and ensure change management practices are followed to ensure transparency and continuity.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, and best practices across the RevOps team and other departments.
Working Style & Mindset
  • Understand that RevOps is a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment — priorities shift quickly, and flexibility is key.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and tools while maintaining focus and quality.
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn new systems, processes, and business models.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Admin experience (Sales Cloud).
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model, flows, Data Loader, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Comfortable managing Salesforce platform maintenance tasks: sandbox refreshes, release readiness, installed packages, and data quality.
  • Experience collaborating with Salesforce developers to evaluate and implement both declarative and custom solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, draw conclusions, and explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success working both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn additional RevOps tools
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
A few benefits of working at Hireology:
  • Unlimited paid time off & mental health days
  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance coverage from day one
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Hybrid office in the heart of Chicago
  • Award-winning culture
  • External learning budget
  • Amazing growth opportunities.. and more!
Compensation: Salary: $95,000.00 plus company bonus Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to provide Visa sponsorship. Agency and/or Third Party inquiries will not be accepted. Hireology is committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, genetic information, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, disability status or protected veteran status, or any other category protected under the law.
