REI is seeking an experienced Sr BIM Manager to drive the overall BIM strategy for the Store Design Teams. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a centralized digital library in Revit to facilitate the production of store design documentation from internal and external teams. The Sr BIM Manager must possess an extensive understanding of BIM principles and practices, as well as a working knowledge of the various disciplines involved in the store development process. This role is accountable for the implementation of BIM processes throughout the Design and Construction deliverables. The Sr BIM Manager works in partnership with key internal stakeholders including the Architectural Design Lead, Store Planning, Concept Design, Store Operations, IT, Asset Protection, Visual Merchandising, Real Estate and Construction to deliver a brand appropriate customer and employee experience. The Sr BIM Manager is also responsible for supporting and influencing programs, strategic initiatives, and value engineering efforts that support the Co-op’s strategic direction. The ideal candidate is a creative and proactive problem-solver, natural relationship-builder, planner, and strategic thinker. Additionally, this role is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement to deliver against the strategic goals for the Physical Place team.
Responsibilities:This role requires advanced knowledge of BIM practices and store design development . The ideal candidate applies advanced principles, documented processes, and strategic thinking while overseeing projects with high levels of ambiguity and budget complexity . They can use a wide range of strategies, concepts , and previous experience to determine a course of action and deliver independently on projects that are both tactical and strategic . They plan and prio ritize daily tasks to be performed independently that align with REI initiatives and direction from Leadership .
